This refers to narrowing of the aortic valve in the heart.

 

Symptoms

• Dyspnoea 
• Reduced exercise tolerance
• Syncope

 

Signs

• 'Slow rising' pulse
• Ejection systolic murmur
• Radiation to the carotid arteries
