Intermittent claudication

Definition

Claudication is a cramp-like pain which occurs in the legs while walking. It may cause the sufferer to limp or stop them from walking entirely.
Intermittent claudication occurs when a person has to stop every so often to let the pain to subside. This is caused by the build-up of waste products in the muscles.
