Life

  • 1869 CE - 1938 CE
  • Born in Northern Ireland, UK
  • Died in New York City, USA
  • Worked as a cook.
  • Became an asymptomatic carrier of Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica. 
  • Caused 53 cases of typhoid fever. 3 of which were fatal.
  • Spent 26 years in quarantine.
  • Died of pneumonia in quarantine.
