In females in the UK, cervical cancer is the 14th most common cancer.

 

Premalignancies

  • Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN)

 

Types

  • Cervical squamous cell carcinoma (about 80–85%)
  • Cervical adenocarcinoma (about 15% of cervical cancers in the UK)
