Every
human is built with a nearly identical physiology. No matter what
social status they have, there are certain functions which must be
performed. If they deviate from the natural plan too much, they will
experience disease. A deviation from the state of health may occur
before conception, before birth, or after decades of health, but ill
health is inevitable.
When someone in the public eye develops a disease, the public becomes more educated about medicine.
The social changes can include:
- A feeling of catharsis and social belonging for patients.
- Improved awareness of the consequences of each disease. Patients may feel more well understood and supported by the rest of society.
- Encouraging the cessation of unhealthy behaviours (e.g. smoking).
- Improved awareness of the warning signs of early disease.
- Improved awareness of the potential treatment options.
This series is compilation of reported (but unconfirmed) diagnoses. It is intended to act as a valuable mnemonic for learning various diseases.
