Centromere Antibody

This is a type of Anti-nuclear antibody (immunoglobulin) in the serum. 

Disease associations

• 60% of patients with limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (formerly called CREST syndrome)
• 15% of patients with the diffuse systemic sclerosis
