HL is a group of diseases which differentiated from Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. 

 

Types

• Classical hodgkin lymphoma
• Nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL) 

Epidemiology

• About 20% of all diagnosed lymphomas are HL.  
• Hodgkin lymphoma accounts for less than 1% of new cancer cases in the UK each year. 
• In males in the UK, it is the 19th most common cancer.
• It is more common in people who are:
• 20 to 34 years old
• Over 70 years old
